Alex Johnson is an award-winning spoken word artist and performing arts coordinator. Sami Parbhoo will read from Travels in the Seven Directions, a collection of short stories based on his journeys around the world. Cedric Watson is a four-time Grammy-nominated fiddler, singer, accordionist & songwriter.

Guests are invited to share their own creative works during the Open Mic.
 
The presentation will be videotaped to appear on Acadiana Open Channel.
