Festival of Words Workshops offer a chance for participants to learn from established authors. Authors will lead students through invention techniques, helping them to write their own poem or prose. The sessions will not include critique-only writing, but they will provide guidance and inspiration, and will present an opportunity to share your workshop writing if you wish. Sometimes the Poem is A Zine is an interactive hybrid writing and visual art making spade for all levels. Participants will ve guided through both the histories of poetry and zine making as modes of creative resistance while engaging with a piece of their own writing (if available) and/or creating new writing.
